God has given us a group of 6 great people for our first mission trip to San Jose, Costa Rica. The team consists of Cat Padgett, Amanda Carey, Eric Obert, Pastor Brian Robertson, Steve Selegue and Patty Trasin.
We leave Columbus on July 19, arriving later that day in Costa Rica. We minister there until the 28th when we arrive home late that night.
Pray for our team as we to work with missionaries who minister in extremely poor areas of the city – especially an area called Los Anonos (see picture at right). We will be working with children’s programs, ministering as needed in two local churches, and spending lots of time in building/rehab efforts to people who live in terrible conditions.
We’ll be partnering with missionaries Rodney & Cindy who lead a ministry called Harvest Hands. Check out their blog at www.harvesthands.blogspot.com.
